Day 1: Spain – Colombo

Departure by plane, tourist class, to our destination in Colombo, with one connection. Night on board.

Day 2: Colombo – Kandy

Arrival early in the morning at the airport in Colombo and reception. Departure by car to Kandy. Dinner and accomadation in the hotel.

Day 3: Kandy – Pinnawela – Kandy

Breakfast. In the morning you will visit the Pinnawela Elephant Orphanage. Lunch in a restaurant, return to Kandy to visit the Botanical Garden of Peradeniya. Arrival in Kandy, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1988. Visit of Dalada Maligawa, where the Temple of Buddha’s Tooth is located. In the afternoon, attend a performance of the famous Sinhalese dances. Dinner and accomadation in the hotel.

Day 4: Kandy – Nuwara Eliya – Kandy 

Breakfast. We will begin the ascent to the region of hills, through a winding road to Nuwara Eliya, its traditional architecture is mixed with British style colonial buildings. Lunch in a restaurant. Return to Kandy. Dinner and accomadation at the hotel. The journey from Kandy to Nuwara Eliya can also be done by train at no additional cost depending on availability and to be confirmed at destination. The journey by train is considered one of the most picturesque journies in the world.

Day 5: Kandy – Matale – Dambulla – Minneriya National Park – Habarana

Breakfast. Departure by car, short stop in the spice garden of Matale. continuation to Dambulla Temple. This entire area was declared a World Heritage Site in 1991. Lunch in a restaurant. Arrival in Habarana. In the afternoon, departure in a 4 x 4 to visit the Minneriya National Park which is a dry terrain where herds of elephants and large colonies of birds live. Return to the hotel. Dinner and accomadation.

Day 6: Habarana – Aukana – Anuradhapura – Mihinitale – Habarana

Breakfast. Early departure by car to see the statue of the Buddha of Aukana, an imposing image of Buddha 12 meters high carved into one single rock. Continuation to the archaeological city of Anuradhapura, recognized as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO, and considered sacred to Buddhism. Lunch in a local restaurant. Departure to the peak of mihintale, sacred place of pilgrimage for Buddhism. Return to Habarana. Dinner and accomadation at the hotel.

Day 7: Habarana – Sigiriya – Polonaruwa – Habarana

Breakfast Visit to Sigiriya complex, an ancient palace complex classified as a World Heritage Site in 1982. The ruins of the palace are located on top of an impressive red stone rock 180 m above the jungle. Continue along the road to Polonnaruwa, declared a World Heritage Site in 1982. Visit of the famous statues of the Buddhas of Gal Viharaa. Lunch in a restaurant. Return by road to Habarana. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 8: Habarana – Colombo

Breakfast. Departure by car to Colombo. In the afternoon, a panoramic tour of the city, which has the largest population of the country and is the commercial capital, located on the west coast of the island. In a vibrant city full of life and with a striking mix of modern architecture, colonial buildings and some ruins. During the visit you can see the most representative places of Colombo, the commercial district of Petah and the seafront of Galle Face. Accommodation.

Day 9: Colombo – Spain

Breakfast. At the scheduled time the transfer will take you to the airport for your departure by plane, tourist class to Spain, via connecting city. Night on board.

Day 10: Spain

Arrival in Spain. End of our services.
